The St Albert Lifestyle Expo has wrapped up. Thanks to everyone who helped with the set up and take down of the booth. It was greatly appreciated.....especially after such a long weekend. I think it went pretty well for my first ever show. It felt great to show my work and receive such positive feedback. I look forward to speaking with many of you again soon!

This might sound kind of nerdy or strange but sometimes when I am bored I like to do self portraits. I am actually not very fond of being in front of the camera, behind is definitely my element. But sometimes it is just fun to experiment.

Old Hollywood Glam!

This past weekend I got to take a look back to this beautiful look with a client. It was a perfect shoot for my birthday weekend. I love to look at vintage jewelry and clothes. So many pieces are coming back into style. You probably have to be a girl to find the excitement in all of this.....LOL! There is something timeless about the Old Hollywood look. Bette Davis, Grace Kelly, Veronica Lake, Merilyn Monroe.....and so on. These images are my interpretation of a classic Hollywood starlet.

It's back to work!

Hola, everyone! The studio is back open after a short holiday to Mexico. I returned to great news. I received my accreditation in Child Portrait. Other than that not much is new. I am still busy preparing for the the St Albert Life Style Expo at the end of the month.
